Vicar's Message

“Lenten Season”

Dearly beloved in the Lord,

We have entered the Great Lent and we are bestowed with another year to participate in the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is a time to do a self introspection with regards to our relationship with God. There would have been times when we would have treaded a different path from God and gone astray. This is the time to think on all these aspects and sincerely make an attempt to retreat to His Path. Let us all thank the Almighty for all the blessings showered upon us especially in enabling us to realise our long cherished dream of building a Temple of God at Clayton. This year we all need to stand together and pray with a united spirit for the growth of our Church, Parish, as well as our families. Lent is the greatest weapon against the evil and let us make use of this opportunity to fight the evil and become the inheritants of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Lenten Prayers

We will have Lenten prayers at both Cathedral and Chapel throughout the Great Lent and the timings are as follows:

Morning Prayer: 7:30 am

Noon Prayer: 12 Noon

Evening Prayer: 7 pm.

All of you are earnestly requested to attend the office prayers as far as possible.

Have a blessed Lenten season.
